Narasaraopeta Engineering College, situated in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, is a higher education institution that encourages research and development and creative learning among its students.The college focuses on imparting practical education.
The college’s Electronics & Communication Engineering branch has a dedicated electronic device and circuit lab, a pulse- and digital-circuit lab, a communications lab, a CAD lab, a linear IC applications lab, a microprocessor and microcontroller lab, and a microwave & optical communication lab.
Narasaraopeta Engineering College started its Electronics &Communication branch in 1998 with an intake of 40 students, and now takes up to 240 students. The incubation center in the campus, Startup NEC, provides students with enhanced resources and research capabilities.
The college has installed solar rooftop power plant for “green” power generation. Currently, the department is working to increase the efficiency of the solar cells used in the power plant.
On the academic front, the college also has a well-equipped library with 500 volumes of books electronics and communication. The college’s university innovation training programs are helping students learn much more than what the average engineering studentlearns.
